20+ years of excellence

History of Talis Park

From humble beginnings to one of Naples’ most forward-thinking luxury communities, Talis Park’s story spans decades of vision, reinvention, and innovation.

2003

Construction begins on 465 acres of former tomato fields along the northern edge of Naples. Under the direction of Greg Norman and Pete Dye, WCI Communities begins transforming the land into a world-class golf course—laying the foundation for what would become one of Southwest Florida’s most distinctive communities.

2005

The course debuts as Tuscany Reserve Golf Club, earning acclaim for its dramatic design, 115,000 square feet of bunkers, and lush Platinum Paspalum fairways. Early homebuyers are drawn to its European-inspired architecture and promise of private, club-centered living.

2008

The housing downturn hits Florida hard, leading to WCI’s bankruptcy. Development halts, and the property changes hands among banks and overseas investors—leaving the unfinished clubhouse slab as a reminder of paused ambitions.

2012

Real estate investment firm Kitson & Partners purchases the site, recognizing its untapped potential. Under new ownership, the community is re-envisioned with a more contemporary, lifestyle-oriented focus and a new name: Talis Park.

2015

The long-awaited Vyne House debuts to national acclaim, earning Golf Inc.’s “Clubhouse of the Year” award. Designed as a walkable village hub, it blends indoor and outdoor spaces with resort-style amenities, a wellness center, spa, and signature dining venues like Fiona’s Café and Casa Cortese Sports Pub.

2023
